Love

Have you ever seen happier puppies?  They love everyone, but they sure LOVE my mom.  As of the last few days, we have found new homes for all of them and a week from now, it will be just Belle and her little guy.  Excited for everyone to enjoy them as much as we have!

Jayda LOVES the girls too.  Since we decided to keep a boy, she has been extra snuggly with the girls and will be so sad to see them go.  It helps to know we have GREAT new homes for these babies!

Lots of memories made with these here pups.  They will start going to their new homes this weekend one by one...we better have the kleenex's ready!

6 week check-up

This morning my mom and dad took all 9 puppies to the vet for their 6 week check-up and shots.  The veterinarian who performed the c-section was happy to see them again and said they're all doing great.  The smallest pup "Little Blue" (boy #2) was around 6 pounds and the biggest pup "Gus" (boy #5) was around 8 pounds!

They love spending time at their favorite place...under my front porch!

The last two mornings, Jayda has gone out to help Grandma feed them while I'm still sleeping.  It's so cute to look out the window and see her with them.  Of course, Grandma's almost always out there...training them...holding them...talking baby talk...cleaning up poop.

...and one last shot of Belle letting her babies nurse.  We've had to keep her separate during most of the day to help them ween.  She was such a good mama to let them nurse whenever they wanted.  We're hoping they are fully weened by 7 weeks.  Isn't she such a pretty dog?
